The Lullabot team has been conducting high-demand workshops, conferences, and public and private training events since 2006. Over the years, we have had many requests for video versions of our workshops by people who were unable to attend due to time, money, or geographical constraints. We were looking for a way to accommodate these people – to offer a version of our workshops created specifically for the video viewer.

Think of the Lullabot Learning Series as a workshop in a box. Not an echoey video recording from the back of the room at an event, but a presentation prepared specifically for the camera on a particular topic. Likewise, these are not slow real-time screen casts. Each densely-packed chapter is carefully planned, professionally recorded and edited, and indexed for easy reference and review. Each video in the Lullabot Learning Series contains about as much information as a one or two-day workshop. You get to see and hear our expert teachers explain the topic to you with a minimum of jargon targeted to viewers with a wide range of experience.

You can contact Lullabot via our contact form or via telephone at 877-LULLABOT (internationally, via Skype at +1-877-585-5226). Our business hours are Monday through Friday, from 9am to 6pm Central U.S. time. If we are unavailable when you contact us, we will get back to you on the next business day.

If you know either your email address or your username, the system can email you a new password which you can use to log in. To do this, visit https://store.lullabot.com/user/password and enter your username or email address into the form.

You will receive an email with your username and a new, system generated, password. Once you are logged in to the site, click the "My Account" link and then the "edit" tab to change your password to something you will remember.

In order to download videos and check on your order status, our ecommerce software will automatically create an account for you if you do not already have one. However, these auto-generated usernames are often not what we would choose ourselves.

Once you are logged in to the site, you can visit the "My account" link and then click the "edit" tab to find the username field and change it to something more artful.

The DVDs are conventional video DVD discs. They are wide-screen format and will play in any conventional DVD player on a television or computer. Each DVD contains a full menu system with each chapter indexed for quick reference.

Yes! The DVDs are region-free and will play on any DVD player, anywhere in the world.

Chapter markers display in QuickTime Player

The video downloads are QuickTime ".mov" files compressed using the standard h.264 codec. These videos will play in the QuickTime Player or the VLC media player on Windows, Mac, or Linux.

Additionally, the videos contain chapter markers which will show up in both QuickTime Player and VLC. In QuickTime, the menu shows in the lower right corner of the video. In VLC (1.0+), you can find the Chapter submenu under the Playback menu. Using these chapter markers, viewers can immediately jump to any of the chapters on the video.

These files are archived in .zip format to ensure that they download correctly. You will need to unzip them after download, so for a 1GB download you will need more than 2GB available disk space to unzip.

We have done our best to balance video quality with file size, but most of the Lullabot Learning Series download videos are larger than 1 gigabyte. We are using Amazon S3 to host these files and users with very fast connections have experienced download speeds in excess of 500KB/sec. However, this connection can vary greatly. We highly recommend that you do use a hard-wired (ethernet) connection, rather than a wireless wi-fi connection if possible.

The download links are good for several days, so you can retry if you are having download problems. If the link expires without a successful download, please contact us and we will arrange a new link for you.

So you've bought the The Everything Bundle and now you're sitting with a big pile of DVDs on your desk (or a BIG folder of video files on your disk). Where should you start?

The Lullabot Learning Series videos are designed to be modular and you can pretty much watch them in any order you like. There are certain pairs of videos such as CCK/Views and Basic/Advanced Theming which provide a logical narrative building one site throughout two videos. But even with these, each video tackles a separate subjects, so you won't be bad off with just one or the other.

"Yeah, yeah! Just tell me what order to watch them in," you say? Okay, here's a good logical order:

Yes. You can find a link to each one in its description. You can find them all on the Lullabot Drupal videos YouTube channel.

Yes. YouTube recompresses the videos into Flash and lowers the quality and resolution. The downloaded videos are high-quality QuickTime movies at a high-definition resolution of 960x540. They are optimized to display the details of the screen captures, keeping the text readable throughout without any of the glitches and compression artifacts often associated with online video.

We can ship everything in our store anywhere in the world. Just add the items to your shopping cart and you can see the shipping price during checkout. We have many shipping options and we do our best to accommodate our international customers.

The download video-file version of our DVDs are also available internationally and there is no shipping cost associated with these.

Our video licensing does not allow for public performance without permission. However, we're usually very happy to offer permission! Please contact us if you are arranging a meetup, Drupal camp, or similar event and would like to show any of our videos. Given enough notice, we are usually able to put together a package with a bunch of giveaways for your event. Lullabot is very supportive of Drupal/Open Source community events and we will do what we can to help.

Yes! We can accept purchase orders from accredited educational institutions, government agencies, and large companies for all workshops and video/DVD orders over $250. Please contact us and we will get back to you as soon as possible to work out the details.

If you would like to order 5 or more copies of the same video, please contact us and we can arrange discount pricing for you. We also have reseller pricing available.

Our video licensing differs slightly between the DVD and the download versions of each video. Each DVD's license is based on the physical product, whereas the downloaded version is licensed to a specific person. Under basic copyright law, neither the DVD nor the download can be copied except under Fair Use cases. Since the DVD can be shared without copying it, this makes it possible to share (or lend) a single DVD from one individual to another. The downloaded videos, on the other hand, are intended for use by one person and should not be copied to others.
